We Are All Going to Die
Death entered the world through the sin of Adam in the Garden of Eden. God created life, but disobedience brought separation from Him. Death reminds us of humanity’s fallen state, yet it also points to our need for a Savior.

Ask one hundred people on the street if they were to die today, would they go to heaven, and the majority will say, “I hope so.” For the Christian, there is no “hoping” for heaven. If you have placed your faith in Jesus Christ for your salvation, you can know beyond a shadow of a doubt that you have eternal life. Faith is not hoping for heaven; it is trusting what God has promised, He will do. The most famous verse in the Bible, John 3:16, says that Jesus came into the world so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish, but have eternal life.

John stresses that eternal life is not just a distant hope, but a promise from God. It’s a powerful assurance that strengthens our faith, helping us to remain hopeful and focused on the beautiful future that awaits us with Him.

Every person will one day close their eyes for a final time and face eternity. Most people fear death. Those without Christ are uncertain of what happens when you die.
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I am telling you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, 15:52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last
- He is revealing the mystery of how corrupt, temporary human bodies can possibly enter eternity with God. The short answer is they can’t, even if those bodies belong to believers who are guaranteed salvation through faith in Christ. Instead, every born-again Christian will be transformed from their natural body to their glorified heavenly body. This will all happen when Christ returns for His people, as He said he would in John 14:2–3. Not only will the dead be resurrected with transformed, glorified bodies, but those believers who have not died when He returns will be transformed, as well. trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

As a Christian, you can know you have eternal life because God has promised it in His word; the Bible. Christians don’t have to fear death. They celebrate the fact that when they close their eyes in death, they open them in the presence of God to spend eternity with Him.
